Correct me if I'm wrong, but what I'm seeing is a man hiding from his insecurities. Phew, weight and figure problems can be absolutely stressful if not accepted.

DeleteI find the drawing amusing, though, in that the character hates being fat because it means he can not hide behind the skinny sticks. In this sense, being fat prevents him from having the privacy other people expect without thinking.
