The Metamorphosis (reduced) Part 1
I have decided to try an experiment with Sastergoodment. I am going to attempt reducing Franz Kafka's masterpiece into six serial Sastergoodment drawings. The result will be a mini-comic, or rather, mini-book.
This drawing is Part one of six. Over the course of the next week I will be posting the remaining five drawings.
(Herr Kafka, please forgive me.)

Post Mortem Photography
Here is this week's Deathly Doodle done in collaboration with The Order of the Good Death. Someone suggested "Post Mortem Photography" as a topic and we ran with it.
Click here to see the drawing accompanied by Caitlin's description of post mortem photography (as well some excellent real examples).
If you want to suggest a topic for one of the next Deathly Doodles, just leave a comment after following the link above.

Introducing "Deathly Doodles"
I am very excited to announce my collaboration with Caitlin from "The Order of the Good Death" on a new project entitled, "Deathly Doodles."
This is how it works: people (that means you) can submit words and phrases that pertain to death in some fashion. Caitlin and I will then select one of your suggested topics and I will do a small Sastergoodment drawing illustrating the topic while Caitlin writes a few scholarly paragraphs giving the facts about that topic.
Then we start over again and select a new suggestion from you.
"Dorian Formaldehyde Gray" is the first drawing from this series, and I invite you to view the full post with Caitlin's description here.
This is going to be fun.
